ARTISAN FANS WITH A MODERN TOUCH
A FAN OF, was born in the summer of 2021 within our surface design studio, Agustina (www.agustinastudio.com, @agustinastudio), focused on interior design. Both Brands aim to freshen a traditional object up, an object that seems having lost its prominence, by developing contemporary designs, selecting quality and innovative materials and new way of use to adapt it to current trends and needs. For Agustina, the main focus is wallpaper, while for A FAN OF, it is fans.

A FAN OF fans are artisan pieces directly related to design, fashion, and art. They are captivating objects in both shape and function—just as aesthetically appealing as they are practical. Below, we share all the details that make our fans so special.
Designs That Embody Mediterranean Color and Vitality
During the design process we pay deep attention to every single detail. It’s key for us as it’ll be its result to allow us rendering our message to the world. Once the concept of final fans’ Collection has been defined, we inspect all related areas such as materials selection, colours and techniques will better translate our vision. In the workshop, from scratches we print textiles, carve materials and paint wood until we reach the result we had in mind.
Artistry and Sustainable Production
All our fans are responsibly made by hand in Spain, throughout a traditional artisanship process, using highest quality materials such as natural wood polished by hand and 100% cotton printed with ECO-certified inks by Oeko-Tex. Local production and craftsmanship are extremely important to us, we aim to ensuring that the Spanish fan-making craft endures and does not continue to decline as it has in recent decades. Our packaging is made of 100% recycled paper. Our purpose is to offer quality and exceptional design while taking care of our planet.

We offer a fan customisation service that ranges from something as simple as engraving a personalised text on the main rod of our collection fans to creating a completely custom design and producing a range of fans with your artwork. Below, we explain the details and possibilities.
Custom Engraving A FAN OF’s Fans
It is possible to personalise the main wooden rod of our collection’s or plain fans by engraving a name, a text, initials, a message,a logo, etc. This service can be added to your online fan purchases and is also available in large quantities for events. It is a quick process that can be done on the spot and is available starting with the purchase of just one fan. HERE you can choose your fan and the engraving you want for the personalisation.
Web Simulator to choose a design among existing ones from A FAN OF designs
On our website, there is a WEB SIMULATOR that allows you to choose a design, edit it by changing colours, maximising or minimising the pattern and previewing the outcome with the wood. It’s a very practical option if you don’t have a design ready in advance and also if you have limited time to place your order for customized fans. This service is available starting from 50 fan units, and you can also choose the size and type of wood.
Fully Bespoke Fans
This is the most complete custom service we offer, allowing you to fully personalise your fans. You can choose the size of the fan, the percentage of textile and wood, the type of wood, and print any design. You can either provide your own design, or we can develop it for you. Other extras can also be added, such as a ring for carrying the fan, the cords or necklaces that go with the ring, and different types of packaging or labeling. ABANICOS DE PAPEL PARA ACCIONES PROMOCIONALES
We have recently developed a new type of fan made only of 100% recycled paper 400 gr, perfect for promotional campaigns and large events. The production is quicker, this fan can be printed on both sides to convey a message and its design makes it extremely practical as it can be used as a fan. There are different shapes to choose from, and it folds easily for storage. You can also add a cord to carry it around like a necklace. It’s an innovative, effective, and eye-catching alternative to the classic promotional flyer.
